ATP / WTA Grass tournaments 2018 (DenBosch/Stuttgart, Queens/Halle, Antalya, Newport)
The ATP's month-long grass swing begins next week at Stuttgart and s'Hertogenbosch, followed by Halle and Queen's Club (where Ramanathan Krishnan was the 1959 champion), then Antalya (where Ramkumar made the QF last year) and Nottingham. Post-Wimbledon, the season will end with the traditional Newport tournament where Vijay Amritraj won three titles in leap years, and Leander won his only ATP singles title.
Yuki appears to be in the main draw now at DenBosch according to their own website: http://libema-open.nl/en/players/gentlemen/
In reality, he is 20th on the list, and I think the first 19 are direct entrants, so he is probably still one out from the main draw (which is what Menstennisforums also believes).

Divij is paired up with Artem Sitak for the doubles at DenBosch -- and they will be the 5th seeds. Martin/Raja also in the main draw. But where is Leander Paes??
Lleyton Hewitt and Alex Bolt are playing too, with Kubot/Melo the top seeds.

Yes, I noticed that Lu was on the Menstennisforums list, and was reasonably sure he would eventually drop out.
Good opportunity for Yuki to make a great run at an ATP tournament.

As updated elsewhere, RamK is just 6 out from main draw for Newport ATP stating July 16. Yuki has not chosen to enter this tournament where he would have made it in directly. Perhaps, he wants to rest a bit after the grass season in UK.

Myopic decision by Yuki not to play at Newport. I presume he wants to rest before the best part of his season -- the US hard court swing. That is reasonable, but I hope he will soon realise that his real comparative advantage is on grass. Hopefully next year!

Prajnesh is seeded 8th in the qualifiers at Stuttgart. He plays Evan King in Q1, and is drawn to play either Ruben Bemelmans or Christian Harrison in Q2 (the final qualifying round). 6 ATP points available for winning Q1!

We can follow the WTA tournaments here as well. Ankita Raina is seeded 7th in the qualifiers at the Nottingham WTA, and plays NRI (from Australia) Naiktha Bains in Q1.

Prajnesh’s match is the second (last) one on Court 2, probably starting around 2:30pm local time (6pm IST).
Ankita’s match in Nottingham is the first one at 11am local time on Court 3 — starting in half an hour from now!

Awful start by Ankita. She is broken twice and trails 0-3. She was was up 30-0 in the latest game but still contrived to lose it.

Naiktha Bains holds at love, and takes the first set 6-0.
Ankita won just 7 points out of 32 in that first set. Absolutely decimated!

Slightly better in the second set. But still down 1-4. Bain’s has converted both break points, Ankita has failed to convert both that she had.

Good fight back by Ankita. She broke once (out of 7 BP chances) and has made it 4-5 in the second set. But Naiktha serving for the match now.
