Nitin lost to a much higher ranked player. The other losses are still bad, although it is good that several Indians are through to the singles R2.

Good win for Mohit, and great to see that he plays a fellow-Indian (Abhinav, who beat VM Ranjeet) in the QF, assuring us of one SF spot. Let's hope Mahesh also notches a win tomorrow.

Great run by young Manish, and good to see Mohit making a nice comeback of sorts. May the best man make the final -- and then win the title!!

Good performance from Manish.

A win will take him to #43 on the u19 rankings, currently he is #54 behind Aryan who is #52.

Need more consistency from both if they want to show top-250 potential.

Aryan is already past 19. In fact he will turn 20 in a few weeks time.

Manish will turn 19 in a couple of months time and is currently at 20th spot among under 19 players and will move up to around #15 after last week's performance. That looks pretty good by our standards.

Thanks for the correction sameer. I thought he was older.

Agree that looks quite promising by our standards.
