What a consummate win over the top seeds. Divij is easily living up to his ranking. I hope he finds a permanent doubles partner soon!

Good start for Divij with Garcia-Lopez ... Is he going to stick with Garcia-Lopez for FO?
Need to check.

The problem is that Garcia-Lopez usually plays doubles with his brother. So this cannot be a long term partnership. It would be great if he is available for the FO though.

Edit: Just saw the FO thread. So Divij is playing the FO with Yuki.

I don't think GGL has a brother on the tennis tour, if you are referring to either Marc or Feliciano Lopez :D

At €501K Lyon Open 2018, France

Purav and Fabrice met and defeated the pair of Hans Podlipnik-Castillo and Jackson Withrow for the second consecutive week in the First round itself, however they needed 2 tight tie-breaks to prevail this time.

[R1] Fabrice Martin (FRA)/ Purav Raja (IND) d. Hans Podlipnik-Castillo (CHI)/ Jackson Withrow (USA) : 7-6, 7-6

Bopanna also started with a win here with ERV.

[R1] (2) Rohan Bopanna (IND)/ Edouard Roger-Vasselin (FRA) 3-6 6-1 10-5 (WC) Gregoire Barrere (FRA)/ Tristan Lamasine (FRA)
[QF] (2) Rohan Bopanna (IND)/ Edouard Roger-Vasselin (FRA) vs. Roman Jebavy/ Matwe Middelkoop (CZE/NED)

Is this the first time we have 3 Indian players in the R2 of the same ATP event overseas?

Good question. A very rare case. It has happened before though.

Bops and Rakeev Ram made the Australia Open 3rd round in 2008, upsetting LP/Hanley in the 2nd round. Hesh was in the doubles final there too. There may be some other occasions around then, when those three were in the second round.

Prakash and Stephen Amritraj were in the second round of the Indianapolis ATP, back in 2002, and lost to Mahesh and Mirnyi. I am not sure if Stephen was officially playing under Indian colors at that time (Kash probably was). Anyway, this was the year when the boys showed up with Indian tricolor wrist bands and socks and all that (and reached the LA ATP semifinals too). I just cannot remember other cases.

Good win over the Skupski bros. GGL is having a great week in Singles as well defeating local players Mannarino in R1 and Hemery in R2.

They scored hard fought comeback win after saving multiple match points to beat Skupski brothers in almost 2 hours match ... After losing the first set in the tie-break Divij-Guillermo won the second set tie-break on extra points ... They kept momentum in the match tie-break for completing this exciting win.
