Divij-Purav together reached R16 last year at French open. So, they had 180 points to defend here. Divij defend 90 of those at least, next match is going to be very tough. Purav loses all of his points. In live rankings, Purav is now 75. Needs to pick up some points quickly. Else, he will find it difficult to get into slams and ATP tour events.

Yes, Divij/Purav made R3 at Wimbledon too last year, so they have a lot of points to defend.
Divij is now at 43, Leander at 57, Purav at 75, Vishnu 99 (career high), Balaji 103 (new career high) and Jeevan 107.

Yes, expected comfortable win for Rohan-Edouard against local wild-card pair inside 50 mins ... In the third round, they can face a tough match against top-seeds Melo and Kubot .

Bopanna is the reigning MxD champion here —although he has broken up with Dabrowski, the partner with whom he won the title last year. (They met each other on opposite sides of the AO final this year and Dabrowski emerged the winner).

Yuki's nerves did it again.....
Yuki/Divij were up an early break in the very first game and were leading 4-2, they not only lost the break but also the set when Divij was serving at 5-6 due to some errors at the net from Yuki... :damn:
Yuki can do wonders when he is focused, but he needs to fix his mental game and body language...

On to the grass courts for Yuki!

GL for Divij for MXD!

I think the body language (when the ball is not in play) is not as much of an issue. I think we have seen enough of him to know that it just his style. He has some of that same language when he is winning too, but you are right about the focus. That is an issue. He can lose focus every now and then for certain periods. I am not talking about just an error or two (some of which could even be forced), but what we sometimes see as a lack of focus for noticeable periods of several points, when he could simply mishit shots like he shouldn't, if he is focused.

Raw deal for Divij. I think he can find a better partner who will allow him to go deep into a slam. You can't dabble in doubles and go deep with all the hot pairings out there.
