Saki wins his first singles title in this Uzbek futures after very long injury break ... In the last set, both players were neck to neck but Saki took control of tie-break and converted the 3rd match point for a win.

Good to see Saki fighting hard all the way from his QF to final but pulling off wins in the end. 27 points for the title here would take him around 440 in the rankings. A couple more such titles and he will be in the challenger entry range of 300-350 or perhaps he can try his hand at some challenger qualies. Try to have a run like Mukund had this week and take his ranking up quickly. I think his doubles ranking would be good enough now to play challenger main draws.

I want to say Karshi CH starting May 7th knowing Vishnu, Balaji, VSP, Saketh usually travel to Uzbekistan for tournaments. Since the entry lists only show the Main Draw entrants, it will be too hard to find out until one of us reach to Saketh himself.
Karshi's original cut-off was 352. Hopefully, some of our players will show up.

Yes, I hope both Saketh and Sai Mukund play those 2 Uzbek Challengers in Karshi/Samarkand. They are likely to be seeds in qualies and can advance to main draw and do some damage there.
