I think this delayed adding of points was due to the poorer communications infrastructure at the smaller tournaments. That is no longer the case now, so they should update their process. Of course, that will create a minor transition glitch with the same tournaments point for two years being counted for 1 week.

And she nails it. No breaks at all in the second set till the 12th game when from 15-30 down Ankita won 3 straight points to win the match and title.

Excellent revenge win for Ankita against a player whom she had lost to at WTA Mumbai.

At $25K ITF Women,Gwalior

[F] (4) Ankita Raina (IND,255) d. (2) Amandine Hesse (FRA,215) 62 75

Second 25K title for Ankita.

Terrific title win by Ankita ... From statistics, in this match her service was too good for Hesse.

Fantastic to see Ankita gain full points by winning the title in a home tournament, despite only being the fourth seed. The dominant win in the final against a higher ranked player was especially telling!

Ankita needs a good coach to take her game to the next level. She needs 50000 and Not Karman or Prarthana. This is absolutely ridiculous and total waste of valuable resources.
