Sadly, RamK loses the first set at 6-7(4)

Looks like an extended break..someone must have gone to the restroom or something. Hope it is not a RamK injury.

Damn, he served for that set at 5-3 and gave it away.

Now needs a big comeback.

Why will he be tired? He played the last of the 5 matches almost a week ago. Five matches should not tire a professional athlete to such an extent that they need over a week to recuperate. A case can be made for when a player has been playing 3 or more consecutive weeks and going deep each week - but other than that, it is difficult to justify this statement.

Hare Krishna!

RamK just saved 5 breakpoints in his second service game to level it at 2-2 in the second set. Prior to that, RamK missed 1 breakpoint in each of the 2 service games by Mmoh.

There was another long break at 2-3 in the first set. Probably RamK may be nursing some injury. Just guessing because he did not play in Texas last week.

Anyway, he missed another bp in Mmoh service game and will now serve at 3-4.

Couple more holds and now RamK will serve to stay in the match at 4-5.

All of Mmoh's stats look better than RamK - I don't see RamK winning this one unless he pulls off a great comeback from here on.

And predictably, RamK loses 6-7,4-6. I think he should forget this loss and move on.

Where is he playing next? Hopefully no injuries here.

Yes, he's had a week to recover and it's only a 3 hour time difference, so Yuki should have adjusted to Miami. Hopefully, he will play his best here as well.

BTW, I noticed from 2016 data, that Miami court speed was a little faster than IW (which was the slowest hard court masters) but was still on the slower side. Not sure how it will be play in 2018 but a slow court speed would definitely favor the clay courters although the court speed is still significantly faster than most clay courts.

Ramk has no big weapon to counter an opponent who fights back.
Yuki needs to play the ball and not his opponent and one point at a time.
