I don't think it is still hopeless situation for these players to get to top 200 level. Karman is ranked 263 a couple of months before her 20th birthday. Ankita was somewhere in 500's at same age and started making her breakthrough towards top 300 only past 20 and top 200 now at 25.
I know it is rare but Karman is still much ahead at age level. She can make it top 200 next year or so.

Of course, next step to top 100 us much more difficult and not sure if any of these girls will ever make it to that level. But, top 200 too is not bad by our WTA standards so far.
Next couple of years are going to be critical for all of them though to even achieve that.

Mahak and Pranjala were both on track for a top 100 ranking through their teen years and have stagnated and keep going backwards in their age group rankings.

Mahak hasn't even played to state that she has stagnated I feel. I get a feeling that she had to prioritize her School over the last few months and might be on her way back to the circuit.

Well, not playing is also stagnating!... But I have always given her the benefit of the doubt that it may be a school thing; and my concern was only if that was not the case.

Perhaps, you or Vatsal thru your ITD sources can try to contact Mahak to find out what is the reason. Not playing anywhere for now close to 4 months- neither in juniors nor pros is something puzzling even if it was an exam or something. Is she injured or something ?

Actually Mahak played an AITA event and won it in Mumbai in late February, so she is staying in playing shape.

Sai Samitha got a good win to move to the SF although she got lucky with retirement of her opponent in second set.

[QF] (WC) Sai Samhitha CHAMARTHI (IND,929) d. (4) Julia Terziyska (BUL,552) 75 22 retd

Julia had beaten Nidhi,Zeel and Rutuja in last 2 weeks. So, good to see an Indian winning against her whichever way.

Next,

[SF] (WC) Sai Samhitha CHAMARTHI (IND,929) vs. Dasha IVANOVA (USA,674)
