Thanks Samarth for sharing this ... So Alexander Bury having habit of playing long tie-break as he was on the winning side in the longest match tie-break in the doubles.
In the Marrakech Challenger 2012 first round, Alexander Bury and Mateusz Kowalczyk defeated Jonathan Dasnières de Veigy and Marc Gicquel 7–6(7–4), 4–6, [27–25]

LP's marathon TB's affair continues as they scrape home 17-15 in STB.
They could have wrapped it up easily and were 6-0 up and than the Briton who was clearly the weak link making numerous errors and looked down and out when the Philipino was serving for the match at 9-8 and by a quirk of fate it had to be the Briton the weakest link , to come up with an unbelievable lob to save the match point , than onward it was a seesaw battle with both the team having match points eventually LP/Salisbury prevailed in another marathon TB.
The Final Score 6-3 , 2-6 ,17-15

Yes, another marathon super tie break for Lee.

With him being now inside top 50, it really does not make much sense for Leander to play challengers at all and waste his energy. His lowest of the best 18 tournament points are 80, so even if he win the title at a $125K Challenger this week, he will only add 20 points to his overall tally with no improvement in ranking.

He needs to concentrate on ATP events. Hope he goes to one of the 3 ATP 250 tournaments next week instead of playing $100K San Fransisco Challenger which will not be much help at all to him for improvement in ranking. That will need him to travel to either Europe or Equador. Equador will be much easier to travel from Dallas I suppose.

Bizarre decision to play with Salisbury this week. Clearly the guy has a problem finishing off matches.

A little puzzled why LP is playing tournaments such as these as there is no ranking gains to be had. It would make sense for him to stay fresh and plan for the bigger events (ATP 250 and up) where he needs to do well to gain points. He has only 2 results with more than 125 points.
