Nice to see Akanksha beat a higher ranked Japanese to qualify for the main draw. So, at least we have 1 Indian in the girls singles draw this year. We had 3 last year ( Zeel,Mahak and Mihika) and 2 year before that ( Karman, Pranjala).

Divij at a new career high of 43 in the live rankings.

Leander is 56 and Purav is 57. Rohan is 17th, just ahead of the Bryan brothers, who are jointly in 18th place.

Divij and Rajeev lost the first set 4-6. A break against Divij serve in the first game of the match was the only break. The games went with serve after that.

Sadly it seems Divij is the weakest player on court. Fog-Gra are going after him every chance they get. Not surprising given how accomplished and experienced the other 3 guys are both in singles and doubles. Fabulous Fabio is the next "weakest" but that's only because he's so casual, like he's playing in a fog. Anyway, Fog-Gra will be serving for the match at 6-4, 6-5 for them. Wonder why Ram broke off his successful partnership with Raven Klassen.

...and Ashram break the Europeans as Foggy-nini served for the match!! Hmm.. not over till Oprah sings opera!

Oprah hasn't sung yet. Ashram (that's what the chair umpire is saying!) take the second set. Divij did well in the tie-break.
