And they complete the win in second set tie break.

Summarising both the results today -

[R2] (16) Rajeev Ram (USA)/ Divij Sharan (IND) d. Fabio Fognini (ITA) / Marcel Granollers (ESP) 46 76(4) 62

[R2] (10) Rohan Bopanna (IND)/ Edouard Roger-Vasselin (FRA) d. Leonardo Mayer (ARG) / Joao Sousa (POR) 62 76(3)

Both the pairs take their appointed place in third round as seeds. Now, much tougher matches await.

Very nice win indeed for RamSharan! Granollers was a doubles semi finalist here two years ago, and made the doubles final at both the FO and Wimbledon in 2014, so he is a tricky customer in doubles. Good to see our pair come through this test!

Joanna Garland and Taipei - Interesting to note that a UK born athlete is now representing Chinese Taipei or Taiwan as some argue. But sadly tough matches for both of our juniors :-( .

Fantastic win for RamSharan against a pair of accomplished players....

Divij really picked his game up in the decider and was not missing any of the low volleys that were being dished out to him....

:goodluck: for the R3 match against the toppies...... It should be fun... If everything goes fine, this will be the break away win that would help Divij scale to the next level....

Wish RamSharan the very best. I didn't get a chance to see them play together (hopefully will for the next match), but i watched Divij with purav and i was impressed by his doubles play in that combo.

Batmanstream has the match covered under its tennis section. Just ensure you have the ad-block enabled to prevent the pop-ups :)

Paes is a delight to watch today. He has moved away from backhand slice returns to forced topspin backhand today which has enabled the pair to break the opponents twice. Purav is serving well too though he has be broken - he just needs a bit of luck .. I feel his serve is better than usual today with more high % of first serves. Hope they can keep the momentum going

Paes/Raja were broken to go down 3-5, but have stormed back to 5-5, and taken the first set to a tiebreaker.

Samarth - try this link: http://live.livewidget.net/streamvideo1 ... 68813.html

Incase you use a chrome browser, would recommend using this extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... kkbiglidom

Purav was solid and Paes is just a transformed player when he doesn't slice the returns anymore. Hope they can sustain this momentum for 40 more mins :)
