In the first set, both players hold their respective service games until 10th game ... Yuki took a crucial break in the 11th game and while serving for the set, Yuki saved a couple of break point before winning it.

[QF] Sumit Nagal (IND,321) vs (1) Blaz Kavcic (SLO,102) : 6-3

Sumit breaks Kavcic in the fourth game and now leads 5-2 in the first set.
Sumit had 2 BPs on Kavcic's serve in the eight game, but couldn't convert them. It is 5-3 now with Sumit serving for the first set now.
After missing 2 Set points from 40-15 and then facing 2 BPs, Sumit finally converts the third SP and wins the first set 6-3.

Sumit had a couple of set points, and I thought Kavcic double faulted at 30-40 but he held. Sumit 5-3 and serving now.

Two more se pts from 40-15. Gone away on a couple of poor BH slices. Ad out BP. saved by sumit. Unlucky net-chord. ad out BP again. 20 point rally with 3 net drops in a row from Sumit. Saved. Deuce. 12 pt rally. ad in set point again. Two superb BHs in a row, and he takes the set on his 5th set point since 5-2. .... 63 00 !!

[QF] Sumit Nagal (IND,321) d. (1) Blaz Kavcic (SLO,102) : 6-3, 6-4

Sumit is in ascendancy. He starts the second start with a bang by breaking Kavcic in the first game to go 1-0 up.
Its been a 'trading breaks' plot so far in the second set. After getting broken in the second game, Sumit breaks Kavcic in the third game to lead 2-1 now.
Finally a service hold in the third set and Sumit now leads 3-1. Kavcic quickly holds serve to make it 3-2.
Sumit holds serve in the sixth game to preserve his lead at 4-2. After being taken to deuce, Kavcic manages to hold serve to make it 4-3.
Sumit duly holds to now lead 5-3 in the second set. Kavcic holds to love and makes it 5-4.
Sumit easily holds serve to love in the tenth game and wins the second set 6-4. He faces Yuki in the SF.

It would be interesting if it is Sumit vs Yuki,
Yuki would be aiming for the title to get into AO Main Draw
Sumit would Aim for final or title to get into AO Qualifying Draw

And Nadal... oops... Nagal wins it 63 64 !!! An Indian is sure to be in the final.

Thanks, Jay. So, all Sumit needs to do is to reflect (over-turn) the "g". It will look like (the Greek letter) delta. And then the bounty will flow :-)

I thought Sumit would move up to about 280... Need to check. EDIT: Oh, okay, he has 8 pts falling off on Monday, so +27 in points. As of now #287 in live rankings.

Excellent win for Sumeet, kinda expected it and not a bit surprised with the result.
For a second week in a row we shall have an Indian in a Challenger Final and for the sake of Indian Tennis hoping it will be Sumeet

I am okay either way. Yuki or Sumit. If he wins the next, Sumit will make it into the AO qualies with no problems. If Yuki wins, he gets a chance to take the title and make the AO as a direct entry.

But Yuki should watch out. Sumit can beat him, if he keeps taking the ball on the rise and hitting with power like he can. A forehand to the left side that I saw late in the first set was one of the hardest forehands I have ever seen.
