It does not seem that there is live streaming. Not sure if it is live on DD sports.

Zeel got broken second time and now she lost the early advantage and it is back on serve at 4-4.

Karman serving at 4-2.

Zeel got broken again to lose the first set 4-6. :-( Lost 7 out of 8 games after being 3-0 up at one stage. Looks like second seed made adjustments after early flurry from Zeel.

Karman kept that 1 break advantage to take the first set 6-3.

Dominating win by Karman against Thai girl Thamchaiwat ... Zeel gave fighting performance against top-250 type Adina Cristian in her loss.

[SF] (3) Karman Kaur Thandi (IND,310) bt Bunyawi Thamchaiwat (THA,678) 63 61
[SF] (WC) Zeel Desai (IND,781) l (2) Jaqueline Adina Cristian (ROU,254) 46 36

Where does this take Karman in the rankings? Sorry the WTA Rankings are a bit confusing! :P

Karman should get to 175 points ( after reducing 6 points she was to defend ) and to a ranking of around 287-288.

You can simply go to the printed rank list that is at the WTA page ( http://wtafiles.wtatennis.com/pdf/ranki ... umeric.pdf ) and look for the number of points falling off (under the "NEXT OFF" column) and if there is none, then simply add the new points minus the 16th event's points shown on that page. I see 151 points now. Plus 30 minus 1. [the 30 came from the tournament point list, as at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WTA_Rankings]. So 180 points. That is somewhere around #285.

The only thing is that Sameer said that Karman has some points falling off. Sameer is usually correct, so I'm not sure why the "NEXT OFF" column shows nothing falling off.

EDIT: As I was typing, sameer posted. Sameer, are you sure of the -6 ?? Or, did I forget something... Been a while since I looked at the WTA rankings.

I did not look at that next off column. But, looked at Karman's last year's results in same week on her activity and it has 6 points earned from same Pune ITF last year.

I guess they are showing nothing in next off column because points will fall off 1 week later on 20th November.

Ah, these points will go in only week after next, which is what I forgot! We will see that 6 in the "next off" column only next week. When these points go in, we will have 30 points go in and 6 come off; so it will be 151+30-6 = 175, like you said.

I really don't know why they still have 1 week lag for updating points in today's Internet age.

Fantastic run by Karman this week to make the final of a $25K tournament, beating some stiff competition along the way.
Very promising stuff from Zeel too. Women's tennis in India is very excitingly poised at the moment with a terrific cohort of talented youngsters coming through.

Jaqueline overpowered Karman in the third, but still a credible fighting performance by Karman against top-250 Romanian player ... I feel, her overall performance in this Pune ITF was encouraging.

At $25K ITF Women's Tennis Tournament 2017, Pune, India

Singles Final
(3) Karman Kaur Thandi (IND,310) l (2) Jaqueline Adina Cristian (ROU,254) 36 61 06
