Pranjala is in the finals defeating her French opponent 6-1 6-4 in the SF round (although serving 7 DFs is a worrying concern). Plays the top seed for the title.

The Kazakh top seed has reached a 25K final early this year in Uzbekistan. So, Pranjala will have to raise his game to win against her.

Good to see Pranjala hitting peak form with a thorough demolition of the 4th seeded Frenchwoman in the SF. Let's take out the Kazakh top seed in the final too!

This is a Lankan conspiracy to save money? Calling the match between the two semi-final winners another semi-final? Such cheapos.jaydeep wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 12:36 pm A really good dominating win by Pranjala.

Re: $15K ITF Womens Sri Lanka (Clay), October 2017
Also Pranjala is ranked 511, not 608.
Anyway, Pranjala could not sustain her run and lost in the final to the top seed.
[F] (2) Pranjala Yadlapalli (IND,511) l. (1) Gozal Ainitdinova (KAZ,456) 57 46
But this run will take Pranjala to top 500 in the WTA rankings.
