Thai 15K Futures 31 July - 20 Aug
Three 15K Futures takes place in Thailand from 31st July to 14 Aug and it has a considerable Indian presence.
In the First Leg & the Second leg , Rushabh Agrawal , Haddin Bawa and the serial South East Asian tournament player KU make up the list
For the 3rd leg joining the Trio will be list of interesting names , led by Saki , Sasi Mukund , VSP and a surprising entry is that of Pragnesh,
First all off he shouldn't be playing these 15K lowly futures any longer secondly that tournament ends on 20 and it is will very close to US qualies commencing on 22 Aug
So to make a dash half way round the world and this is all assuming he makes the Finals in Thailand is all too a bigger risk .
Probably he should withdraw and not take a risk being so near to the US Open and also playing in the other half of the globe.

Re: Thai 15K Futures 31 July - 20 Aug
Saki, Sasi, Sid Rawat are all playing in China challengers in the next 2 weeks. So,they will mostly make their way to their way for a week in Thailand.
I think Prajnesh will withdraw from here. There is no point in him playing here a week before US open qualies.

Re: Thai 15K Futures 31 July - 20 Aug
A nice straight sets 6-3 , 6-4 win by Rishabh over a similar ranked Japaneses opponent in the R1 , The scoreline looked solid breaking his opponent at crucial times and holding comfortably and even quickly getting a break back to record a good win , Hope he goes deep in this tournament and lives up to his potential which he showed couple of years ago.
Few hours later an interesting match coming up with Haddin Bawa taking on KU.

Good to see Karunuday achieve some good singles results over the past couple of weeks just as we were despairing over the fate of his singles career.

Re: Thai 15K Futures 31 July - 20 Aug
Well, the third seed is 300 ranking slots ahead of him, but there clearly is progress in Karunuday's singles game over the past few weeks (without quite getting back to his career-best standards).
