Looks like a mental breakdown, to have lost after being 4-2 ahead in the final set. Yuki needs to get back in to the winning habit (as does RamK).

Yes, they both need to ... Disappointed by his loss from the winning position.

Losing to someone ranked 300+ is pretty awful. Depressing for us forlorn fans, when it happens even in Uzbekistan, normally a happy hunting ground for our players.

Yuki/Divij up 63 44 in the doubles QF against Molchanov/Arneodo.

(but it's depressing to be following doubles when Yuki is out early from the singles)

[QF] Yuki Bhambri / Divij Sharan d. Denys Molchanov/Romain Arneodo 63 76(3)

SF against Guillermo Garcia-Lopez/Enrique Lopez-Perez. Garcia-Lopez made the SF of the AO doubles this year, and the USO doubles final in 2016.

[SF] Yuki Bhambri/Divij Sharan d. Guillermo Garcia-Lopez / Enrique Lopez-Perez 36 75 (10-6)

Pretty big scalp, but I hope the final is tomorrow, so that Yuki can reach Moscow in time for the ATP qualifiers there.

Yes, this is a really good comeback win against strong Spanish pair.

It may be a bit tough on Yuki to play so many matches within a week. Probably he played doubles as he felt he needed that on-court time given that he has played so little in the last two months. However thats the downside of him being so good in doubles and playing with Divij.

I don't think doubles is as much of a strain on the body. It's like playing one set of singles a day plus a STB. I'm sure Yuki's body can handle that...

Doubles Final is scheduled tomorrow at 2.30 pm.
I am not quite sure though if Yuki will dash off overnight to Moscow to play the next day. I have not seen that kind of despatation from him in the past. Let's see if he does that.

Divij Sharan is a better doubles player than Purav Raja. Better serve, better court coverage, better reflex, better shot making ability.
Yuki/Divij is a very dangerous team.

I would call it pretty consistent.

Consistently around the #250 level.
