It is so nice to be entering Wednesday (the third day) of an ATP tour event with two Indian singles players still in contention. If a third had made it, we'd all be even happier, but thank goodness for small mercies!

Probably US-specific restrictions too. These idiots. Take my money and give me a stream, damnit.

The holders, Rohan/Jeevan, crush Leander/Purav 63 62.

Surprisingly one-sided outcome.

As the host nation, can't we get our scheduling right for our own players at least??!

Yuki vs Pierre Hugues-Herbert is tomorrow on Centre Court at 2:30pm. What was the point of having his singles match today in a late-night match, and then rush him into the first match tomorrow afternoon -- clearly handing an advantage to his better-rested opponent?

RamK vs Cilic is the second evening match -- so it will be in prime time, which is good. I hope a good crowd comes out to back RamK in his big match.

Yuki/Divij come back to play their R1 doubles match on Court 1 (last match of the night, probably around the time RamK is playing his match (around 8pm). Surely, Yuki/Divij should have been scheduled on Monday or Tuesday.

Damn, scheduling Yuki's match at 2.30 pm is pathetic. That means there will also be no live TV telecast for that in India ( as they start the live telecast only at 5 pm.). Yuki will have so little rest too.

Yuki mentioned in a "freak accident" that happened two days back. That was the reason he was sporting a tape on his knee. So maybe he himself requested the organisers to keep his doubles match for as late as possible. Not sure, just "maybe"

Reached back to my hostel just in time to watch this match. This match just reminded of my comment after their loss in their first challenger - the second serve of our guys was being thrashed by the opponents then. It was the same today unfortunately. Statistically the second serve win % was the biggest difference between the two teams today (~25% vs >65%). Hope Lee/Pu can work out of it soon

They have the authority to share it within the Indian Sub-continent only :-~ . PKB, Jay: The link from Omkara will work if we use Indian VPN

Nice win by RamK! He definitely seems to have improved his backhand and that should make his game more ready for top 100 competition.

Yuki's win was closer than I expected. Hopefully, his new knee "niggle" isn't a problem that persists...

Yes when i Saw him was amazed with the amount of protection he was wearing , his right hand had two customary protections , his calf was strapped, the thigh was taped , all pointing to worrying injury niggles.
However since he has also entered doubles he should be feeling fine and hope all the paraphernalia he is donning is just precautionary.

And on a side note looks like his contract with ASICS Clothing has fallen through , was wearing 3 Black patches to cover the ASICS Logo

The stuff he was wearing around his knee looked pretty extreme...
