The ITF website shows he retired at love 5 down in final set ,if true than a deliberate act to deny his opponent of a clear cut win.

The original term was 'ramkayed'(at least in our forum). Now, should we change it since RamK doesn't do it any more?

That is very unprofessional. If he was totally down to a state where he couldn't physically move an inch, I can understand. But retiring at 0-5 in the 3rd set is ridiculous. He might have served 4 lollipops and get done with it to accept getting bagled. Very disappointed to see Prajnesh being a cry-baby.

I hope he didn't retire at 0-5 in the final set, which would be incredibly unprofessional.
Zhizhen Zhang is an upcoming 20 year old, who beat Di Wu in a Futures in China in May (where he made the final and lost). He was ranked in the top-400 two years ago (when aged 18), but has not progressed much -- until now. Prajnesh obviously had a chance to put it away in 2 sets, but then collapsed when he wasn't able to close it out. So he will remain the India #3 (albeit one who now has a higher singles ranking than Rohan Bopanna, Harsh Mankad or Mahesh Bhupathi ever reached).

Yes indeed it truly was a retirement at love 5 down by Prajnesh , Anyway the less said the better
He is not playing in the 3rd leg and the Indian presence in the 3rd leg is restricted to Vishnu & KU
Vishnu does not play until tomorrow but KU played today and duly lost his R1 match in straight sets to his 661 ranked Taiwanese opponent ,
And what a colossus waste of time and unproductive 3 weeks it has been for KU , all of it due to his foolish , aimless planning ,
Travelled long distance's back and forth to eventually earn a total of 6 points for his 3 weeks in China, and those 6 points points he could easily won or possibly even 3 or 4 times that number without even having to move an inch by just staying in Hong Kong and more importantly facing low average competition than what he faced in China .

Wow! Does anyone find it unpleasing with this constant carping about KU? If anything, I see him getting 2 good upset wins over higher ranked players last 2 weeks and IMO he performed much better than what he could have done by playing in another ITF tournament with POOR entry list. How is it going to help a player's career if someone wants to just play lower level ITFs for cheap points?

At $25K Tianjin Futures
[R1] SE-Karman Kaur Thandi (IND, 413) vs. 4-Yafan Wang (CHN, 144).
Another tough-looking match, but one Karman should win if she can sustain last week's form.

Both of our girls won, especially Prerna in straight sets. I wonder why she doesn't play regularly in the ITF cricuit( apart from the financial issues, if any).
