I would surely take it as an indicator.
Just because Dudi won that challenger doesn’t make Dudi a superior and better player than Marcos.
By any given yardstick Baghdatis is a far better player than Dudi Sela and he has even beaten him twice , in their previous meeting prior to Surbitron , once even on grass last year at Newport.

So the loss at Surbiton was purely due to Marcos’s erratic falling standard which he has been experiencing this year and his discomfort on grass , and these two major points would be the deciding factor in the outcome of the match when Ram takes on Baghdatis

Divij-Purav lost in more than 2 hrs long match against Pavic-Marach ... In this match, both pairs failed to break other service game but our pair had 8 break points chances, though 6 of them in the second ... In the match tie-break, our pair was 0-7 down so lost it easily.

Baghdatis win the second set 6-3 with 2 breaks of serve. He seems to be beginning to dominate in second set. Hope RamK can turn the tide in third set.

Couldn't get a first serve to save his life. 24% in the 2nd set. As a result started going for it on the 2nd serve and the DFs came in. Overall a set to forget. Can he regroup and get back in it?
