DiPu have broken exactly when it mattered, and are now serving for the match at 6-5 in the final set!!
They had one match point, but couldn't convert, and were broken soon thereafter. 6-6 :-(
7-7 now, after opponents held to love, and we held at 30. Nail-biting stuff.
Opponents hold to love again. 7-8. (I sense a shift in momentum ever since our pair failed to convert the match point).
DiPu hold at 15. 8-all.
Time to pressure the opponents' serve. No, they hold easily again.
0-30, 30-all, 40-30, Deuce, Ad-out, Match. DiPu lost 3-6 4-6 6-4 7-6(6) 8-10
Epic battle, but not enough in the end. They have to hold their nerve when the match is in their grasp. Not easy when such big prizes loom ahead.

Double fault on match point. Back to back double fault to lose the most important game. What a choke from Divij!

Damn, third consecutive close 5 setter loss for our mens doubles pairs. :damn:

And sad that DiPu could not close it out after fighting back so hard from 2 sets down.

I am really looking forward to Zeel playing A.Li :) I know they both have to win their respective first round matches. We know Ann Li well :) She has a tough first round though. My younger son trains with her coach...

The great days of Indian doubles are over. The future would be as frustrating as singles.

Not yet Sania is still there and a good news for her Mattek Sand has injured her knee and also lets see how far Gabriela Dabrowski can carry Bopanna.

Conquerors of Jeevan take out the no 2 seeds Herbert and Mahut in 5! The bottom half of the mens doubles is wide open with Klassen/Ram being the highest remaining seeds.
