Karman's strength Is her Serve but it is also her weakness. It changes its nature frequently.

Karman fought all the way but fell short in the end. :-(

At $25K ITF Women, Namangan

[SF] Karman Kaur Thandi (IND,480) l. (2) Polina Monova ( RUS,181) 63 16 57

Still an impressive run by Karman who seems be surely on the upward curve winning multiple matches at this level.

Balaji too lost in the SF in the mens event.

At $25K Uzbekistan F4 Futures, Namangan

[SF] (2) N.Sriram BALAJI (IND,310) l. Mikhail FUFYGIN (RUS,859) 67(5) 46

It looks like 3 hours match yesterday against Vishnu took a lot out of Balaji.

Anyway, he will enter top 300 after these 2 weeks and can get into many challengers at least in Asia.

Now, it is 1 week break and then another $25K Womens tournament in Fergana where Karman and Dhruti are in main draw while Natasha and Prerna are in qualies.

Simultaneously, there will be a $75K mens challenger where Prajnesh and Balaji are in main draw and Vishnu in qualies.

Yes fatigue seems to be cause of the Balaji's defeat as he was playing a 800 ranked opponent whom he would have beaten in normal circumstances.
In face in the opening set was double break down love 4 but he did manage to get both the break's back and even led 5-4 at one stage but eventually couldn't sustain and ran out of steam to loose the set and the match.

Fabulous! One of the best wins of Vishnu's career, and a massive scalp!

Duck Hee Lee is also 20th on the list for Roehampton next week, so it is astonishing that he is playing at Ferghana now.

Yes, bad loss for Karman. I expected her to continue her upward surge here.

Duck Hee Lee is also 20th on the list for Roehampton next week, so it is astonishing that he is playing at Ferghana now.
His scheduling has been weird. He played Surbiton grass challenger 2 weeks back than Italy challenger on clay last week. Now, it is Fergana challenger on hard courts and back to grass next week.

Duck Hee Lee must be dreading the site of Indian players across the net. In the last few months he has lost to Prajnesh, Yuki, RamK and Vishnu.
