Re: AITA Fenesta Nationals
The new "National Champion" is Niki Kalyandi Poonacha. The top seed in this year's Fenesta Nationals beat the second seed Aryan Goveas 62 76(4) in the final. Even the SF had just one "surprise" with 6th seeded Dalwinder Singh being there (after he beat 3rd seed Eqbal Ishaque -- Eqbal who? -- in the QF). Goveas played 4th seed Kunal Anand in the SF (after the latter beat Nitin Sinha in the QF).
Of course, the new champion is only the 9th ranked player in the AITA rankings list, although he was the top seed in this tournament. Some sort of launch pad to a real pro career, perhaps.

Re: AITA Fenesta Nationals
The women's title was won by top seeded Sowjanya Bavisetti, who beat 4th seeded Prerna Bhambri in the final, 64 62.
The boys title was won by 6th seed Madhwin Kamath, who beat 10th seed Udit Gogoi in the final 62 76(1). Kamath is 18, and is ranked 397 among the world's juniors. Top seeded Dev Javia (who is ranked 116 in the world, and still has another year in the junior ranks) was knocked out in the 3rd round by unseeded Rohan Mehra (17 year old who was ranked 328 at the end of last year, but is now ranked 911 in the world). Runner-up Udit Gogoi is only 15, and is ranked 632 in the world. Gogoi might be the one to watch!
The girls title was won by 18 year old Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty, beating 16 year old Sandeepti Singh Rao comfortably in the final. The juniors are a bit of a shambles at the moment.

Re: AITA Fenesta Nationals
This tournament is becoming more and more meaningless every year with none of the top 7-8 players participating. Last 2 years mens singles champions have been Dalwinder Singh and Siddharth Vishwakarma. As of now both are ranked outside 1400 with mere 2 and 1 ATP points respectively and a career high outside 700. I hope Niki gives a better account of himself on pro tour in the upcoming year. At least he has had a career high of 605 and a 25K futures title in his name ( although ranked at 912 presently ).
Similar situation on womens side.
Juniors side has been looking bleak since last 2-3 years or so. Udit Gogoi looks a good talent though. He has won an under 14 Asian title or something If I recall correctly. Will keep an eye on him.

Re: AITA Fenesta Nationals
Manish won the title beating Digivijay 62 63 in the final. Manish is pretty good all around although with no big weapons as such. I still think he can get upto at least challenger level in pro circuit. Hope he gets up to that level soon.

Re: AITA Fenesta Nationals
Manish and Sid are two guys who are at the Srinath and Fazal levels earlier. Can make it into the top-400 or 350 and make some challengers, but probably don't have the tools to go much higher. Manish is still young so I hope he proves me wrong and does better than that.

Re: AITA Fenesta Nationals
These are all the singles final results-
Men - Manish Sureshkumar bt Digvijay Pratap Singh 62 63
Women- Vaidehi Chaudhari bt Sai Samhitha 62 60
Under-18 boys - Denim Yadav bt Aman Dahiya 76(2) 64
Under-18 girls - Madhurima Sawant bt Suhitha Maruri 63 62
Vaidehi is another talented player who is perhaps capable of reaching close to top 200 level but does not travel much, so is still languishing in 500's.
