2nd seed Mirnyi and Nestor lost against Anderson and Knowle in straight sets, 67(2) 67(7) 36, in the second round.

Dlouhy and Clement fought back to win the second set ... In the third set they r on serves.

Edited - Dlouhy and Clement dominated tie-break to won it comfortably, so our pair 1-2 sets down.

[R2] (3) Mahesh Bhupathi (IND)/ Leander Paes (IND) vs Arnaud Clement (FRA)/ Lukas Dlouhy (CZE) 62 36 67 (1)

Now, they are a break down in the fourth set at 2-3. Looks like another disappointment in store in mens doubles.

Good heavens, something seriously wrong, our guys struggling to win a Pt. or two on the opponents serve, need to break them Lucas/Clement in the 4th set to stay alive, now LD/AC headed near a win over LP/MB something seriously wrong? :-(

It is all over for the Indian express. :damn:

[R2] (3) Mahesh Bhupathi (IND)/ Leander Paes (IND) vs Arnaud Clement (FRA)/ Lukas Dlouhy (CZE) 62 36 67 (1) 46

Indian challange in mens doubles gets over in first week itself which is unusual.

Actually Som is still there. But yes, very shocking results. They were one of the favourites. Maybe they should try to play with younger players who have bigger serves. Often felt that Bopanna will form a good team with either of them. But don't think he will ever play with Lee. Hopefully they will do well in mixed doubles. Fingers crossed for Sania. :-)

Sad to see the Indian Express go out so early. I was a bit wary of their opponents, but an early Slam loss is always sad...
