Re: ATP World Tour Finals
I don't think the form Dlouhy in Lee has any chance to make it...Rather waiting for Hesh match to start...I seriously believe Hesh-Max will finish the year strong..I predicted long back in Valencia itself...lets see

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Actually I just geeked out & read the PDF with tie-break rules, and it appears that if LP/LD win in straight sets & Melzer/Petzschner lose by any score, LP/LD will be through in second place. So there we go, a nice easy task - beat the Bryans in straight sets for your first win.

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
With Asian Games going in even Jaydeep forgot to update the scores....Bad for ther Indians LP-LD lost to Bryans 3-6,4-6 just now...watching the same and they looked listless as usual...But I am more disappointed last evening when Hesh-Max lost to Dan-Zimo yesterday 6-7,6-7....I thought the first set was real close and Hes- Max actually had few chances on Dan serve couple times with 0-30 scores and all but could not give the final punch...Infact Mahesh served pretty well in the entire match..I liked it but he had medical time out also...Hopefully Hesh can hold his shoulder another 3-4 years...I want that ......
Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Mahesh and Mirnyi move into the SF with a 6-4 6-4 victory over Moodie/Norman.

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Good to see Hesh-Max really crank it up at the end of the season. I hope they don't do so well that they begin to reconsider the whole question of going their separate ways next year . Indian Express is sacred!
Re: ATP World Tour Finals
The Poles went 3-0 in the round robin, which included a win over the Bryans. Can Mahesh and Max get the better of them in the SF?
Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Hesh and Max won in straight sets -6-4 and 6-3, but don't remember! Getting old. Hesh is great to watch - always seems to do the right thing. Hope they win tomorrow against Nestor and Nenad.

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Congrats to Hesh for making the final of the World Doubles championship! Vijay remains the only Indian to win this title (when it was called something else); can Mahesh match him?

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Vijay had won the year end doubles championships? I did not know that! With Anand, it must have been? Jay

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Hesh returning was splendid in the semi final..He bagan the final with the same pricision but Nestor came up with two big serves to get out of the hold...2-1.
Hesh makes it 2-2...Zimo holds on 15..2-3....
Max serving 15-0, ace..30-0..another ace this time on secondserve...40-0.....game..3-3.....
This time needs to break Nestor...0-15..15-15,30-15,40-15...holds...4-3....
Hesh hold on 30..4-4 now...need a break now
Zimo holds despite two superlative returns from Hesh...5-4 now.....

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
The only break points in the match so far were in that third game when our guys had two. Pretty close match! Jay
