Pretty week field it seems.
But good chance for Indians to earn some points. Good to see many Indian youngsters such as Karan, Vivek Shokeen , Vishnu Vardhan , Vishal Punna, Divij Sharan.

Good to see Vishal Punna re-emerging after a long hiatus, and also nice to see Karan playing the Satellites. It will be a good opportunity for him to raise his ranking substantially if he can dominate the circuit -- and the same, of course, is true for Sunil. Much better time of year to play a Satellite in India, so I hope there'll be fewer injury issues in this circuit.

This Satellite will be like the old domestic tennis circuit from the 1970s and 1980s, with a few foreigners thrown in for variety. Nice way to gradually revive Indian tennis. I hope our guys pick up a heap of points.

to be frank 13-14 odd foreigners is not that bad. good chance for indians though, especially karan and sunil. Navdeep should make it to the final as his ranking is set to go up due to the kenya futures. what do u say? i believe his good performance in that tournament is yet to be incorporated in hios rankings. Will his new rankings allow him a direct entry if he some one from the direct entrants pulls out?

PKB has been a moderator for a long time and he was probably the 5th or 6th person to become one. I know that he became a moderator before me. Dhruv has been lazy (

) to add the "moderator" title under PKB's name, or may be PKB prefers his title listed as a member. Click on "all moderators" in the forum to check the names of the moderators.

Addendum:

I checked the "all moderator" list and it does not have the names of the new moderators. Dhruv is probably trying to catch up on over 5,000 posts after returning from wherever he had gone.

Ya nice draw for many Indian players ... Vishnu having very tough first round, but hopefully he will start with big upset ... I hope players like Sunil, Karan and many others took advantage of such weak draw.
