Re: Source for Indian players schedule
I agree that RamK is playing week after week. But it is only in a few tournaments that he played consecutive rounds. In most of the weeks, it was 1/2 match(es). If it is fatigue, then it must be from the travelling.

Re: Source for Indian players schedule
I'd hope Divij and Jeevan might partner again, next week in Tashkent. Or may be Divij/Vishnu, Yuki/Jeevan.

Sania has a terrible knee injury again. Potentially the end of her career.

Next week, Leander and Purav will be back in action at Stockholm ATP 250. Divij will be playing along with Lipsky at Antwerp ATP 250. Jeevan and Vishnu will most probably be together at China challenger.

Sumit needs to start racking up points if AO qualies is a target.

Re: Source for Indian players schedule
Yes, Sumit missed 2 weeks due to Asian indoor games and is now choosing the hard route of trying to make the points thru challengers. Let us hope he succeeds.

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
The month long Challengers in China beginning from the first week of March have been cancelled due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus.
These Challengers comparatively, provided relatively easier points to our players, with regards to the ones in Europe/USA and now with the already existing tough field combined with the influx from these cancellations, it would make things much difficult for our guys to garner valuable points ,also looking at the schedule there isn't a continuous stretch of tournaments in a particular continent ,there are gap's appearing in between the tournament , and than you have tournaments in places like SouthAfrica , Brazil, Equador , making the schedule planing quite difficult for a player.

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
Yes, tough choice for our players now in March. Prajnesh and Sumit will mostly go and play IW/Miami qualies. RamK,Mukund, Saketh etc. may have to play odd week in Kazakhstan or South Africa after davis cup week and then take a couple of weeks off or go to South America and play on clay which is unlikely. 3 more challengers in China in April still on calendar, but lets see if they get played.

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
Prajnesh , Sumit would in any case take a shot at IW , Miami due to their higher rankings, same as Yuki & Ram who played there when they were ranked similar as Prajnesh & Sumit.
It is guys like Ram & Mukund who will suffer the most , as for example even though he was not in the best of form last year , Ram from the weaker field could still gather around 80 odd points from the 3 weeks he played , and now with that opportunity gone, protecting those 80 odd points (atleast 3 SF's) against a stronger opposition will be all the more difficult and he might further slide down in the rankings.

Re: Source for Indian players schedule
Moved the above posts in this thread as it considered Indian players schedule. These is an article where same concern is voiced by Indian players-
Coronavirus outbreak a new headache for Indian tennis players
As of now, this looks like schedule for our players for next few weeks-
Week starting-
Feb 10- $162K Banegaluru Challenger- Prajnesh,Sumit, RamK,Mukund, Saketh and others.
Feb. 17- $54K Morelos Challenger, Mexico- RamK, Saketh, others having a week off
Feb. 24- Dubai ATP 250 - Prajnesh in qualies, $108K Pau Challenger, France- Sumit, Mukund, $54K Columbus Challenger, Ohio,US - RamK, Saketh
March 2- Prajnesh, RamK, Sumit at davis cup qualifiers, other entry lists not yet out.
So, okay for next 3-4 weeks. The real concern will start in March when the Chinese challengers are cancelled and other challengers are all scattered out.
