Okay this a totally different discussion from the Lee-hesh split.
I think this can turn out to be a interesting discussion. Which single players/Irregular doubles players/teams can cause trouble to regular doubles team in Olympics??
From what I see. The biggest is the pair of Federer/Wawrinka. They made us also sad last time around in Olympics in quaters.
Some teams which I think might make up a good team and cause trouble
Djokovic/Tipsarevic - Or either of them pairing with Nenad Zimonjic.
Roddick/Fish - If my memor serves right, I think we beat them in Athens in 04??
Nadal/Lopez??? or may be Nadal-Verdasco
Tsonga/Monfils?? or Tsonga/Simon???
The Murray Brothers???

The answer is Tsonga/Llodra. None of the others. My crystal ball says so. You heard it here first (and last).

Seems like Yuki thinks that India can win doubles or mixed-doubles medals at the '28 or '32 Olympics. I cannot see that far but my vision is bleak wrt tennis.

Well, if Yuki takes doubles seriously, there is indeed a chance. Yuki and Ramki as a pair would be quite formidable.

Yes, and in 2024 (for Yuki and Ramk). Of course, this would mean that the government should fund our top 2 pairs for travel and play for some number of weeks (say 20 weeks) each year. Beyond those 20 weeks, each player can play on their own.
After all, I assume our badminton teams all travel at government expense to tournaments, so why can't they do the same with our tennis doubles prospects.
