NCAA Mens Basketball is the equivalent of pro level in many countries......Its a very high-quality level of play........You can't even mention womens basketball in the same breath as NCAA mens basketball.Its night and day difference.

Man, this came back to life again!  Maybe women deserve the same prize money because the squeal louder but hit softer!  I guess that evens out the equation.  Vote with your wallets folks, and things will end up as they should.

i never knew that women used to play best of 5 before.
just read that monica seles defeated gabriela sabatini in 5 sets to win the year end WTA championship once.

IIRC, it was an experiment that did not last long and was not used in regular WTA tournaments.
