Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
Both the big grass court titles last week -- at Halle and Queen's Club -- were won by 37 year olds! And in fact, Feliciano Lopez went one better by winning a double crown at Queens (partnering Andy Murray to the doubles title, after beating Gilles Simon for the singles title).

Yes, we've known about Duckhee Lee quite well for at least 3 years. But it will be wonderful for the world of tennis to finally discover his incredible story.

Andy Murray’s singles comeback isn’t going well: he lost to fellow 32-year-old Matteo Viola —a Challenger journeyman with a career high of 117, now ranked 240 —at the Mallorca Challenger (officially called the Rafa Nadal Open), 63 46 67(3)

At this point, the fact that he can play must sound awesome to him and his fans. Start of the year he was planning to retire after one match at Wimbledon. Tough. But I like that he is fighting it out.

Djokovic, this version, is human after all. He has a shoulder.
If the seeds hold, Medvedev-Federer and Monfils-Nadal in the semis. And the third biggest/greatest rivalry in tennis in the finals?

If Federer keeps up the form of the last 2 matches I can only see 1 winner

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
In 2020 we have a Brand new Grass Court tournament in Mallorca Spain.
Unfortunately this doesn't increase the count of the Grass Court tournaments for a season , It only replaces Antalya ,which has fallen off the list.

So, the next gen Medvedev, Zverev, and Tsitsipas are all in the top 7 now. Augur-Allisime is #20. Who will break the over-30s grip on the GS titles? Between Djokovic (born '87) and Medvedev ('96), it almost seems there is a lost decade when we have not had that great a player come up.

What a comeback trail by Andy Murray winning the title at ATP Antwerp. This is a nice article from ATP site -
Murray's Journey From Tears Of Pain To Tears Of Joy
With young guns really coming up fast now, will Murray make it to top 5 again ?

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
Jannik Sinner of Italy has been making some noise on the circuit. He turned 18 in August this year and is now set to breakthrough the top-100 with some brilliant tennis in the late hard court season, didn't need to break much sweat while shifting gears from challenger to tour. Another superstar from Italy

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
The top-3 have all lost a match each at the ATP tour finals in London. Djokovic and Federer play each other tonight to decide which one of them will join Dominic Thiem in the SF, after he beat them both. Tsitsipas leads the other pool, having beaten Nadal.
