As per our calculation Sania breaks into top 50 ... She is currently at #48, her highest ever ranking ... Shikha also enter into top 130 ... Kash was expected to loose points from last year's performance, so Harsh again come up as #1 Indian singles player, but he also loose 4 places in ranking ... In doubles also becoz of 6 weeks break Lee comes down to #9 in world ranking.

Its really pleasure to see this week's ranking ... As we all were expecting Sania entered into top 35 ... Nice to see Harsh inside top 250 ... Hoping he keep climbing and soon be into top 200 ... Lee's first round exit put him outside top 10 and Mahesh become out top doubles players.

Oh, how wonderful it is to have an Indian tennis player in the singles top-35 in the world again. Before I left India for the US in August 1987, it was something we took for granted. Since 1989, it has been something we have been utterly starved of. THANK YOU Sania Mirza!!!

And congratulations to Harsh for regaining a top-250 ranking after a brief hiatus. Indeed, he is close to his career-high once again. And congrats to Mahesh for becoming our top doubles player again, apart from being a 9-time Slam titlist!

And this week Harsh reach to his highest singles ranking ... Becoz of Sunfeast Tournament performance Shikha come inside top 140 and in doubles ranking she jumped more than 180 places with her final appearance ... I m also putting Sunitha and Neha's ranking as they both showed interest of playing for India.

Notable rise in ranking this week by Uberoi sisters in their doubles ranking ... And Lee also move 2 places ahead with Thailand Open Doubles Title ... But saddening part of this week is, fall of Mustafa's ranking from top 10 Indian singles ranking ... Last week he needed to defend 8 pts which he couldn't, so he dropped 387 places and currently ranked 1284 with mere 3 ranking pts.

Perhaps you can start adding Neha in the list now. We have seen at least a couple of official drawes with (IND) with her name and it seems just a matter of time before she is fully listed under IND, as it was reported that the paperwork is all in place.

Yeah Jay I was thinking that but last week also I included her name but noone commented anything regarding that ... So this week I skipped that ... Anyway I m updating my old post with Neha's name.

Sania and Harsh reaches to their career highest ever ranking in Singles ... Sania also reaches to her best doubles ranking after last week Japan Open semifinals appearance ... But Mustafa reaches last rank on tour with only 1 ranking point, ie 1528.

As mentioned in forum, Karan grabbed 4th spot of top Indian player ... But Sunil isn't far behind ... We r also first time seeing youngster Vivek Shokeen entry in India's top 10 ... Also after long time we r experiancing our top ten players inside top 800 in siingles and inside top 500 in doubles ... Go guys.

Today until now WTA Tour ranking doesn't update ... So not posting them.

Frankly speaking in every list atleast 8 players moved in ranking ...

But I only highlight highest movers which moved more than 100 places only exception is Lee as he is in top league who moved 2 places.

What about singles? Sunil definitely didnot move 100 places.
