On Monday, all teams will vote on rule changes for 06. The topics which will be voted on will be:
Qualifying Format: 4 possible results:
1. This years format
2. all cars have 12 laps in one hour (02 format)
3. Knockout format : 5 cars will be knocked out after 15 minutes then another five out after a second 15-minute session before the remaining cars battle for the top grid spots. (this is the favourite)
4. cant remember this one
Race fuel in qualifying : Teams want to change this .... i think it will be great if they have full race fule for the third quali format
Tyre rules: Almost every one wants to see the back of themost stupid rule in F1.
Banning spare cars: To save money teams have suggested that the spare car should be banned and drivers will only be allowed to use one car. (If this rule came in Schumi would not be able to race in China)
Use of the 3rd car in Friday practice: some teams want it removed while other think that more teams shouls be allowed to use the 3rd car in free practise

The quali sysem for 2006 will be the 3rd onementioned in the first post. As far as spare car is concered, the rules will reamin the same. The FIA also introduced a new rule to do with rear wing design which should increase overtaking by over 200%. But this rule will only be introduced in 2008. The is still a lot of pressure to bring back tyre changes but it looks like F1 is finally going in theright direction

Argentina is pushing for a race in 2007. With South Africa and Austria expecting to come back soon and India and Russia trying to get onto theF1 seen, it looks like there will be a lot of competition for the remaining races. Apprantly, Bernie wants no more than 21 races in 2008 so if India want that race, we will need to work hard
