Plea for re-organising the top-level in "The Golf Secti

Hi all,

How many times have you clicked on a recent post in "Golf Tournaments" and came up with a thread that is **not** under "US and European Pro Tours"?

Me: quite a few times, to the point of being a little annoyed.

Can the moderator for Golf section please add "US and European Pro Tours" to the top-level? (along with the "General Golf Discussion", "Golf Tournaments" and "Golf Player Forums")...

Apart from being a couple of clicks away from where I want to go, here are some stats to support my request.

The entire Golf section has about 8143 posts (2444+4484+1215). The "US and European Pro Tours" has 3304 posts accounting for 40% of all posts!! It really deserves to be in the top-level for God's sake!

It would be very confusing to have US and European tour level inaddition to Golf tournaments..

May be we can do away with subdivision for US, EPGA, JPGA and APGA and have just Golf tournaments ... At any given point there are going to be 5-6 active topics taken together..

If it is confusing, we can always re-name "Golf Tournaments" to other "Other Golf Tournaments" and still have "US and European Pro Tours" at the top level!!

I think that the US PGA, EPGA, JPGA and Asian Tour can go at one place.

Just my opinion.

It is for easy access, I requested this re-organisation. It was purely from a HCI point of view. To read 40% of the posts, I have to do 2 mouse clicks.

1 mouse click into "Golf Tournaments" and then another click on --> "US and European Pro Tours". All I want is to *save* the extra mouse click.

I agree that it is logical to have all golf tournaments under 1 subsection. At the same time, for the sake of "saving an extra mouse click", can we not move "US and European Pro Tours" to the top-level golf section please?
