Stalin couldn't cut it even with lowly Sertanense in the Portuguese league 3rd division, and is with the Kerala Blasters now. Oh well ... Actually I think he did fine with them, but chose to come back, due to the Covid situation. Hope he does well at Kochi.

I believe Sertanense is in the 4th tier of Portuguese football.

Apparently, Sunil Chettri also tried out for Sporting Lisbon in the top tier of Portuguese football but couldn't cut it.

Bengaluru FC beat Eagles 1-0 in AFC Cup playoff in Maldives.

Bengaluru FC will join ATK Mohun Bagan in Group D.

All Group D matches will be played between 18-24 August in Maldives. Winner of the Group will play with the winner of Central Asia Zone Group.

Bangladesh's Bashundhra Kings and Maldives' Maziya are the other teams of Group D.

ATK Mohun Bagan needs atleast a draw against Bashundhra Kings in order to qualify for next round playoffs.
