Re: Australian Open, Melbourne, GS 2000, Jan 16-29, 2023

Final set What a start to the final set as Yuki/Saki break in the first game... *1-0 3 comfortable holds on either side... 3-1* They had a look-in on their opponent's serve at 15-30 with a great FH return from Saki, but then it went to 40-30, and then to Deuce with a great return from Yuki... Ad-in...

Re: Australian Open, Melbourne, GS 2000, Jan 16-29, 2023

Second set What a topsy-turvy second set.... went down a break and it was looking bleak at 4-5* and our team even saved two match-points, broke back and had two set points at 6-5*, couldn't convert.... went down a mini-break in the tie-break, but came back strongly to take the tie-break 7-4, and wi...

Re: Asian ATP Challengers (outside India) 2023

What a bummer to lose such a close match that lasted close to 3 hours! :damn: Prajnesh had two match-points at the end of second set, but it was not to be in the end... :-(

[R2] (ALT) Prajnesh Gunneswaran (IND,343) l. (Q) Arthur Cazaux (FRA,382) 76(5) 67(4) 36

Re: Maharashtra Open, Pune, ATP 250, Jan 2-7, 2023

RamK's injury timeouts, hopefully, are not a long-term concern this early in the season.

Great win for Bala/G1.... :bounce: I see no reason why they can't get to the final now...

Re: Yuki Bhambri

I think Yuki needs someone like Saki on-court to carry him through his mental lapses.... RamK, I feel, has similar needs. So, it might be difficult for them to complement each other and be a successful long-term pair...

Re: Maharashtra Open, Pune, ATP 250, Jan 2-7, 2023

Saki/Yuki choked away to lose their R1 doubles match... They were up a break in both sets, managed to win the tie-break in the first set, but lost the second set 5-7 after being up 4-2... and the MTB was weird, I think the first 5-6 points all went against the serve and Saki started off with two DFs...

Australian Open, Melbourne, GS 2000, Jan 16-29, 2023

Australian Open, Melbourne, GS 2000, Jan 16-29, 2023 First Grandslam of 2023 is almost here.... and the doubles entry list is out, which seems to be only thing we can cling on to off late  ... As expected, no one close to being in the Men's Singles qualies... In Men's doubles, Rohan Bopanna /...
