Re: BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2016, Jiantsu, China
it is 2-1 now with Jwala and Ashwini losing at 11 and 8. I don't even expect a game in this match now.

Re: BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2016, Jiantsu, China
Saniafan, so no credit to Saina for this win ? All credit to Saina that day in and day out she performs at very high level. But the issue is that other players have their lows and highs and at their peak they will always beat Sania. That his why you always see consistent performance from her but pl...

So it won't be 0-5. Also Okuhara's form has gone down as I suspected and mentioned in some other thread.

But is it mandatory that srikant is sent? I think it is is. This is not a country quota. But sadly he is the best indian player right now.

I think India will lose easily. At max we can win two singles and even 0-5 is possible.

Re: Rio Summer Olympics 2016
I agree. Probably Saina only had less chance of winning gold in 2012 than now. But the moment draw was made, her chaces of Gold or Silver were extremely low in 2012 as she was slated to meet Yihan in the semis who was number 1 player at that time. So effectively she was playing for Bronze. She had l...

Re: Rio Summer Olympics 2016
This time she has better chance of winning Gold or Silver compared to last Olympics but her chances of winning the medal are worse.

Re: Rio Summer Olympics 2016
Sun is certainly behind Saina in terms of play and will be behind in terms of ranking as well. BTW July 21st rankings will be used for seedings. Okuhara peaked early and is going down. So is Marin. Right now those really ahead of Saina are Intanon, Lee xuerui and Tai. Yihan, Okuhara Marin and shixia...

Re: Malyasia Open SSP/ Singapors open SS/ China Masters GPG - April 16
I don't think Carolina Marin is ahead of Saina. I think Saina, Yihan and Carolina are behind others. Right now Intanon is the best player and Tai and Li xuerui right behind her. Then it is Shixia wang and Okuhara. Finally saina and others. But of course this can change. Also in today's match Saina l...

It will be difficult for Saina. Tai is playing very well and Saina has a mental block against her. I would be surprised if it goes to 3 games.

But for that he also has to be in top 16. second player can qualify only if both the players are in top 16.arjun2761 wrote:Assuming Srkanth can stay in top-16, it would appear that Prannoy has the best chance to be the second Indian to qualify in MS.
