Re: Junior Circuits Abroad for Indian Kids...
Good fight by Rethin and a solid win for Aryan. Cooper isn’t an easy opponent. He doesn’t have much of an offensive game but is a very crafty player. The one that misses the most loses the match :) Rethin seems to be the real deal. Movement on these green clay courts is really tough (can’t slide) an...

Re: ITF Junior Circuit 2022- India
Keshav is a really good player (the one who beat Tyagi). He’s from NJ. Super offensive game style. takes everything on the rise and can disrupt any player. Makes a lot of mistakes but consistency will come. He was a phenom in the junior USTA circuit up until the 12s but didn’t quite grow much and st...

Re: Junior Circuits Abroad for Indian Kids...
Thanks, Jay! Adi Govila (lives in Singapore) has been training in NJ for the past couple of days and Rohan met him a few times. He’s currently traveling with a coach from NJ. Very nice humble kid and he and his parents seem really committed. He may move to NJ early next year. Yea, Rohan has been pla...

I did and he said he forgot his password and is unable to reset it for some reason. He said he gave up after a few tries. If any of the mods can help reset it, I can let him know.

Re: ITF Junior Circuit 2022- India
This week boys final will be between third seed 15 year old Krish Tyagi and second seed 17 year old Indian American Hanu Patel. A bit off topic..so mods feel free to delete. Hanu is originally from US but has been living and training at Alex Waske in Germany since 2014. I am not sure if he’s still ...

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
Honestly if she’s injured, she shouldn’t play until the injury heals. It doesn’t sound like it’s just a niggle. Don’t know though. If she picks up points and makes it to Aussie qualies, she should be in a good shape to play them. Otherwise what’s the point?

Re: N.American Hard court Challengers 2022
[R1] Anirudh Chandrasekar (IND)/ Giles Hussey (GBR) vs Ethan Quinn (USA)/ Adam Walton (AUS) The draw Gods are beginning to relent a bit on Indians, I guess. In doubles, if our guys win, they will play each other in the QFs. Ethan is super talented. Won the NCAAs singles as a Freshman! Also got a WC...

Re: Indian Origin Players Thread
Lots of Indians these days in the US events. I think 4 seeds in the qualies at Ithaca were Indian-american kids. I see a lot of Indian names all over the place. Yes, even in the juniors. It’s so good to see that. Out of the 4 players in qualies at Ithaca, Ishaan plays for Columbia and the rest for ...

Re: Indian Origin Players Thread
Sports-india's own 16 year old Rohan Belday had a wildcard to the M15 at Ithaca,NY, USA today... He went down to a 19 year old Indian-American Aman Sharma (USA,1566), 36 06... Don't feel too bad; just your first match in the pros (I think). Better results in the future, Rohan! Rohan is now #327 in ...

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
A bit off color today so far and down a break after her second service game 1-2... broken again, and down 1-4... She is not moving well at all today. Has some tape on that left knee. Mostly just going through the motions. No grunting on her serves and shots, nothing. I think she is planting her lef...

Re: Asia Oceania Junior Championships (JB1), Pune- Sept 19-25 , 2022
So, big chance grabbed by Indian boys to take big points here and claim their place in Australian open juniors for next year. Aman Dahiya is not eligible for juniors next year but Manas, Yuvan and Aryan all are eligible next year for juniors ( Aryan for 2 more year and Manas for 3 more years in fac...
