Re: Terrorist attack in Kashmir - 44 jawans dead
There is still not an iota of evidence that we did anything and killed even a soul, is there? I guess Pakistan has given evidence pictures of some small hit. Precisely. A few news sources have pointed out that there was a pretty large temporary exodus of all sizeable terrorist cells from anywhere n...

Re: Davis Cup 2019 - India
Wish I could say I expected a different outcome but this isn't surprising.
I am disappointed to hear that there wasn't a raucous crowd.

Re: Australian open 2019
Incredible that since 2004, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic among them have won 52 of the 61 slams singles titles ( Fed with 20, Nadal 17 and Djoker 15). Other than that only Murray and Wawrinka have won more than 1 title during this 15 year period. It truly is incredible. But for injuries, I think del...

Re: Australian open 2019
Not sure I agree with Arjun & Jay after watching the first two sets of Prajnesh vs Tiafoe. Tiafoe wasn't playing well at all until maybe late in the second set. I think a little more patient approach from Prajnesh & he could have controlled that match.

Re: Australian open 2019
I didn't watch the third set. From.the first two, my takeaway is that he needs to be more patient. Tiafoe wasn't constructing points well, just hitting hard. Prajnesh was impatient too often.
Also, he is going to need more oomph on the backhand side to compete at the ATP level.

Re: Australian open 2019
Tiafoe has figured out that as long as he is patient, he will win the point. Prajnesh has not shown the ability to hang in the longer rallies.
Well, bed time for me. Hope to wake up to good news, but not looking likely.

Re: Australian open 2019
He's going for broke early in points quite often. Not sure if that is strategic given the heat.
And, starts playing more patiently and is immediately rewarded with a break! 2-1 up second set.

Re: Australian open 2019
Great return by Tiafoe to get a minibreak, then makes a UFE to give it back to Prajnesh. 6-6. Goes with serve to 7-8 when Prajnesh absolutely blows it smashing a routine ball wide to lose the set. Horrendous miss. I wish I could use a different word, but that's a choke. He had the entire court. Quic...

Re: AFC Asian Cup - 2019 UAE
That is true. But I'm still hoping we can win the group and get an easy opponent. It would mean we win and the other game is a tie, which is thoroughly possible.

Re: AFC Asian Cup - 2019 UAE
Excellent. I couldn't watch it, but this is a very encouraging result. Bahrain & UAE drew 1-1 so we are top of our pool for now. To temper expectations a bit, Thailand are the lowest ranked team in our pool currently, but their ranking is almost equal to Bahrain. So hopefully we can trounce Bahr...
