French Open 2004

Win might be tough, but he will certainly give a very good account of himself.

French Open 2004

I have a feeling Agassi will be back for the USO - at least he will give it a sincere attempt. His pride will not allow him to go away by losing consecutive first rounds. He would want to go out on top, so we'll see the effort.

French Open 2004

He lost because of lack of preparation. You cannot just play the four grand slams in the year and expect to win. He should at least play all the Masters tournaments, but perhaps he does not have the will-power to grind it through that many weeks. Nevertheless, a great career, I enjoyed his tennis! -...

Player Pages

Lifetime highest singles and doubles ATP Entry Rankings would be a good thing to add.

A link to ATP's page where they maintain the year-TD record.

I don't know if tentative schedule belongs here too?

Harsh Mankad thread (archive-1)

Of course, Harsh knows best about chances of qualifying in and opposition. However, I feel that he would be better off qualifying in and going deep in a challenger than at Halle, where even if you win a few rounds of qualifying, as far as I know, if you do not qualify into the main draw you do not g...

Rohan Bopanna thread... (at Newport ATP qualies)

Has Mr. B. entered the Saudi Futures next week? Since he is already there and hospitality is paid, nothing to lose - that is if he feels fit.

Sunil Kumar Sipaeya thread ...(National Champion!)

Sunil has played for the past few weeks. I suppose he might try the two Kuwait futures next. Anyone has any idea of his schedule?

Very weird rule. Does not make much sense imho.

So, is he entering the Netherlands 15Ks or one of the 25K+H challengers in the 2nd week as backups?

Harsh Mankad thread (archive-1)

If someone plays the Wimbledon qualies and does not make it, can they play the next week at a challenger/future? Can they enter both Wimbledon and say the Netherlands futures simultaneously? Of course, with his grass-court familiarity HM has a good chance to make it in, but if not, does he have to t...

Uzbekistan F3/F4 (May 4 - May 17)

There was a Mexico City Challenger on hard courts, and Prakash has a lot of points in the Indian satellites to defend. So, it might not have been a bad idea to play the Qatar/Uzbekistan futures on hard-court. The points would have been good insurance against a dry spell later on in the year. It was ...

Re: Leander Paes thread...

Ahem, for once HM being mentioned as a talent to look out for. Are people changing their outlook and not being that harsh on Harsh anymore? I hope he goes on a tear this summer and keeps going up and up.

Uzbekistan F3/F4 (May 4 - May 17)

Any idea why Prakash was off the circuit for a long time? Maybe he is coming off an injury, and thus the docile display.

Harsh Mankad thread (archive-1)

So now that he got a week off, are there still plans to take a week off after the Fergana Challengers? Or is it possible to pick up some points in the Saudi 15K+H especially since he might not make the Florida challengers and does not have time to play the qualifiers? It also means that if he makes ...

Harsh Mankad thread (archive-1)

Harsh, we believe in you. I would rather support someone who gives it his all and makes sure but steady progress than a player who is very talented but picks his days to show up. As you already know, there will be a lot of arm-chair (or otherwise) critics who say a lot of things, just discount those...

After Fergana, is it Off, Kuwait, Kuwait?

After that there are 15K's in Europe: France, France/Net, Ger/Net, Fra.
Or maybe the Indian satellites.

The challengers during those weeks close at about 240-270, so might not be realistic - unless HM goes on a tear in the next 2 weeks.
