Good. Grass, with RamK and Prajnesh, and forget about Yuki.

Re: October 2018 Challengers

It takes a PKB level optimist to still believe in Yuki. It's sad and frustrating but it appears that his body is not up to the rigors of the tour.

Re: Davis Cup 2018 - India

Hmm. The "World" team put up Tiafoe, Sock & Schwartzmann for today's singles matches. Not exactly electrifying, and definitely not something I would take time to watch. This doesn't come close to replacing the intensity of Davis Cup. Now, replace that by the three BEST non-Europeans (c...

Definitely. That's why I added the caveat. IF the 2 top ranked singles players do not show up, we have a chance vs several teams. Otherwise, we are massive underdogs vs all of them.

We have a slim chance against Austria and no chance against any of the others, assuming they field a first choice lineup.

Eden Gardens? You mean every ground in India, most definitely including his home in Mumbai. Never had a clue what the team needed when batting, just his own stats.

What's the new injury? Or is he just not mentally motivated any more?

Re: Ramkumar Ramanathan thread

I won't blame this on the camp. Yuki has entered and withdrawn from multiple events prior to the US Open. I am not entirely sure that he is fit to play in the Davis Cup... My frustration is about his general schedule, not the camp specifically. I think the camp is unnecessary (clearly RamK thinks s...

Re: Asian Games 2018, Indonesia - Jakarta Palembang 2018

For me, the absolute standout of this Asian Games has to be Swapna Burman. The heptathlon is a tremendous endeavor, and to complete & dominate it while nursing the injury to her face, is completely incredible. I am happy with all of our medalists, but this one is truly special.
