Re: GOLF MAJORS/ WGC Events
Anirban Lahiri has qualified to okay the second major of the year, courtesy of his FedEx ranking. He will tee off at the PGA Championship at Tulsa, OK next week. Well done Anirban for qualifying for another major and hope your good form continues. Anirban is now also in contention for a place in the...

Re: US PGA Tour 2021-22
Excellent performance from Anirban but a bit disappointing to not finish in top 3. Conditions were very tough with lots of rain. Moves to 74 in world rankings. Clearly the best season in terms of prize money won. In terms of FedEx points and year end rankings, we need to wait till the end of ...

LPGA LOTTE Championship
Excellent start by Aditi as she scores a 5 under round with 6 birdies and a single drop shot.
T2 after round 1 and just a shot behind the leader.

Re: US PGA Tour 2021-22
Another good Tournament for Anirban with a T13 finish.
After a 2 week break since his best ever week (in terms of earnings), Anirban did well to have 3 good rounds…but for an over par second round.
Has another week off as it’s the Masters week..
Anirban moves to 87 in world rankings.

Re: WTA Tour/Non-India Fed Cup
Shocking decision to retire at 25!!
But, she must have her reasons - injury, family or another sport?
She has played cricket at top level - maybe Big bash or she is a good golfer too…
Feel like she may come back to tennis after a break at trying whatever she is planning.

Re: US PGA Tour 2021-22
Anirban moves to 45th in FedEx ranking in the PGA Tour.
Should secure his card for 2023.
Also, should move to top 100 in world rankings too.
And the prize money must be one of the highest ever earned by an individual Indian sportsmen/women in one event.
Onward and upward.

Re: US PGA Tour 2021-22
Anirban finishes in 2nd place, just one stroke behind winner Aussie Cameroon Smith… Incredible performance to stay on top for so long in a tough week. Anirban could have easily gone down the leaderboard as it has happened few times in the past. But, in this tough he played unbelievable and stayed in...

Lucky to make the cut.
Hope she plays aggressively in the last round today as it’s only a 54 hole event.

Re: Asian Tour 2020
Yes, until 2018 we used to have 2-3 players in top-10. Agree…but also note that 2020 and 2021 hardly had much play. No events in India due to Covid. Players find it difficult to travel for just a week or two weeks play with isolation rules etc. So, we should be ok if the full season is resumed. Pla...

Re: 2022 European Tour
Wonderful finish by Shubhankar to finish 2nd in such a big event. The field included Morikawa, Mcilroy, Hovland etc. He has already earned more money than in 2019 and 2020 put together in just one event. :D Has already secured his card for 2023 with the points earned here, which is more than ...

Re: 2022 European Tour
Superb round by Shubhankar to be in contention on Sunday. Joint lowest round of the day even with a double bogey in the round. Very windy conditions in Abu Dhabi the last 2 days. He will be playing in the penultimate group with World no. 7 Victor Hovland and Rafa Bello.. Hoping for another good roun...

Re: Asian Tour 2020
Veer Ahlawat and Shiv Kapur did well to finish in top 10. Veer finished T5 and Shiv T9 to finish the long 2020/2021 season. Asian Tour just had 8 events in 2020/2021 including 2 in 2022…One of the worst affected Golf Tour in the world. Hope they get back to normalcy this year. On a sad note, Veer ha...
