Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024

Well, if he withdrew, he would have withdrawn from all. The question is why he is not listed as withdrawn, right?

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024

Stakes are probably too high for Sumit to Miss a direct entry in an ATP...Tournament.. In the 8-10Yrs of his career, I can't remember a single instance where in he has gained a direct entry in an ATP Tour Event..Excluding the Qualies or Wildcards. Here's a golden opportunity that you just can't aff...

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024

^^^ Yeah, I am not sure what is going on. He suddenly disappeared from the Barcelona/Bucharest/Munich lists altogether, like he was never there... And he is listed as withdrawn in the Munich qualifying list too. He decided not to play next week? Why? This is confusing. Disappeared from Munich? He i...

Re: Indian Premier League (IPL)

Yes. Unfortunate. I don't know if there is anyone in the Indian setup who can help. Maybe talk to Bumrah. But, the one young player who had lots of injuries as a junior was Cummins. He was handled with kid gloves, had an indivdualized program set up, and held back at times when I thought he should j...

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024

What's wrong with a girlfriend? As long as she is not keeping him up the night before the match when playing for the national team, it should be fine. If while playing for the national team, the coach had a curfew, that needed to be respected. But, now he is on his own. Maybe Atithee just meant that...

Re: Indian Premier League (IPL)

Atithee, I will try not to answer or have fun poking Kohli's coach although it is too much fun because he is the great Kohli's coach. :-) But, I have to answer one thing. I am *NOT pro-incumbent*. Actually, I am not pro anything. I am a somewhat pathetic bot. I actually think that our subjective jud...

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024

Madrid qualifying would be on Saturday? He did not want to play in 2 days again and wants to rest after four matches this week. Not a bad idea. Sometimes when you rest and train, your brain gets a chance to absorb things and digest it. That way he can work on a few things in practice to fine tune it...

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024

Both would be spot on. :-)

??? It says Sumit withdrew from Munich Qualifying. He does not have a direct entry nor is he in the alternates list for the main tournament either. He is #14 in the qualifying in Barcelona.

Yes, he lost the cushy eat, sleep, and do nothing gig in his mother's womb and was born a loser. :-)

Re: Indian Premier League (IPL)

Sorry, if someone performs, they are no longer proven failures. We need to pick proven domestic failures. That is the path to nirvana. Ishan is in danger of moving from proven failure category and finding the wrath of the board's wise people. We need to look for total failures and select them. Sorry...

Re: Are Indians Born Losers?

Yes. Seldom do babies win any Slams though I suppose that could happen someday. One should never say never. So, all Indians are born losers. In fact, all earthlings are too.

Re: Indian Premier League (IPL)

Sorry, my bad, it should be dravidic and not Dravidic. Proper capitalization or lack thereof is as important for winning a cup as lack of success in lower levels. Never choose tried and tested words. Choose ones that have not been proven losers when we did not win.

Re: Indian Premier League (IPL)

Please do not insult nonsense language and use the non-traditional terms. We need to throw out the losing terms like Dravidian because they have not won us a championship in the times we did not win a championship. Please use the non-tested new term Dravidic.
