Re: Wimbledon 2023

Manas had two break points at 3-2, but couldn't convert, and lost serve immediately after to go 3-4. And then he had another break point at Ad-out, but the opponent shut the gate on Manas with 3 consecutive aces....

Gud fight in the second set...

Re: Wimbledon 2023

There was something with the ump at the end who made them replay the point. Was that fair/unfair? At 40-40, the ball was called OUT which was challenged by our guys and it turned out to be IN. But the umpire wanted the point replayed because the initial call was early and that contributed to the op...

[R1] (ALT) Yuki Bhambri (58)/ Saketh Myneni (76) l. Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (ESP, 34s)/ Adrian Mannarino (ESP, 35s) 46 64 46 Tough loss in 3 sets.... got to watch the final set and have to say that a combination of Yuki's serve and Saki's net game proved to be the undoing where Yuki both his ser...

Re: Yuki Bhambri

Great boost for Yookster! It was a really great match from Yuki & Harris. They never let the match get away from them, even when they were down a break. They always broke back immediately, they always ascertained themselves on their opponents with great effect. Yuki was, hands down, the best ret...

Re: Wimbledon 2023

Aaannnnddd, YukiSaki made it into the main draw... They are slotted into the 3rd quarter of the draw with a possible clash against the 4th seeded pair of Nys/Zielinski... First up though, it will be against a couple of Top-40 singles players.... :goodluck: [R1] (ALT) Yuki Bhambri (58)/ Saketh Myneni...

Re: Indian tennis player rankings

7 out of the top-13 Indian men's doubles players are at a career high in live rankings... I hope Anirudh, VSP can make the jump this year to win more Challenger titles... and Niki/Rithvik can win more matches and feature regularly on the Challenger tour this year.. It's interesting that Rithvik (22)...

Re: Doha ATP 250/Dubai ATP500- February 18-March 5, 2023

Pretty bad loss.... and I guess Yuki/Saki will have to take a break for the next 4 weeks during IW and Miami masters...., unless they're planning some challengers....

Re: N.Sriram Balaji/ Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan Thread

Bizarre loss for Bala/G1..... There were two sequences of play, the first half dominated by our guys while the second half was dominated by their opponents... At Chile Open ATP 250, Santiago [QF] Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan (IND) /N. Sriram Balaji (IND) l. (WC) Thiego Syboth Wild (BRA) / Matias Soto (CHI)...

Re: Yuki Bhambri/ Saketh Myneni (pair) Thread

Let them win a few titles at the ATP tour level.... For starters, let them win one title and then start being considered favorites to win ATP titles before bestowing the dignitaries... I am not trying to be pessimistic, but we have been bitten far too many times banking on the potential and the resu...

Ha ha, what a turnaround of sorts.... :D Good for Yuki/Saki... It's not an easy thing to beat Melo/Zverev even if they are not regular doubles partners...

Next up against 3rd seeds, Glasspool/Heliovaara... :goodluck:

Sad for Ramk and Bops as their teams lost close matches in STB....
