Re: Ramkumar Ramanathan thread
Just read this on twitter from someone who watched today's match- Ramkumar Ramanathan was just robbed of a match by a terrible chair umpire who in the tiebreak made a terrible correction call, two bad serves by Noguchi called in, and a shot off the line called in Thats a four point swing . That is b...

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
^^^ Sumit and Yuki may even qualify on S+D rankings (I have not checked, but I think they might make it in a 32-size draw). In that case, we can actually have two pairs, like, say RB and RamK for one and Yuki-Sumit for another. Actually Yuki-Sumit might even work quite well... Sumit and Yuki will n...

Re: Manas Dhamne thread
Good win by Manas and good to see that he came thru a long 3 setter. In the recent past in these kind of long matches, he has had fitness issues and he either retired or lost the third set cheaply. He next plays 8th seed. At M25 in Santa Margherita di Pula, Italy (clay) [R2] (Q) Manas Dhamne (IND,13...

Re: Indian Table Tennis Thread ...
This was likely what we would have done previously but it gets harder with Sreeja in the top-40 now. Sreeja is now new India #1 at #38 , 1 spot ahead of Manika who is at #39. That makes selection of our womens team even more difficult, we will have to see if Manika along with one of the Mukherjees ...

Re: Ankita Raina thread
Another disappointing one sided loss for Ankita in first round of W50 in Georgia, She lost Catherine Harrison (USA,485) 26 06.
Her game seems to be totally off right now.

Re: Indian Wrestling Thread ...
Yes, earlier they had decided to field same wrestlers for the final qualifying scores. But, now taken aback by results in mens freestyle, they have decided to hold fresh trials. Mens freestyle gave us 2 medals last time, so not even getting a wrestler qualified with only 1 chance left is appalling. ...

Only if Bops agrees to team up with him. No other Indian has the ranking to make a pair with Yuki which will be good enough for Olympics.

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
Olivetti serve got broken after they were a break up and he also served a double fault at 5-3 in tie break. But, Yuki had a fantastic lob at 5-6 on opponent serve to win it for them.

Priyanka Goswami and Akshdeep Singh earn India a Paris Olympics 2024 quota in Mixed Marathon Race Walking Relay!!
Indian duo clocked 3:05:03s to finish 18th at the World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships.
