Smriti Mehra - LPGA/Futures Tour

Smriti is placed T44 after first round. I came to know about Smriti from this forum only. Its a big achievement for her to play Golf at this level. I'm surprised why she is not covered in Indian press.

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

If it is possible to get Jeev's statistics, I'll be interested in finding the probability of a Bogey on the last hole of the day (which could be 9th or 18th hole). Golf is a tiring game and I feel Jeev some time looses his concentration at the end of the day and he is likely to do a bogey . (By the ...

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

BSharma, You probably overlooked Daniel's name as his tee time is also listed. 9:25 Daniel Chopra, Bubba Watson, Scott Parel. I think as he is on the verge of qualifying for PGA, it is crucial for him to participate in all the remaining 9 NW tournaments to keep himself in top 20. Last year 20th rank...

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

I agree, good show by both golfers. This is Jeev's best performance this year. His earlier best finish was T15 in Japan PGA in May. This was Daniel's 5th top 10 performance in Nationwide tour this year. The other top 10 performances were T3, T4, T4, and T10. Daniel jumps to 17th spot in the Moneylea...

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

Jeev (65,68,70) and Daniel (66,69,68) both finished at tied 8th spot with a tally of -7 after the third round. A positive from the three rounds so far is that both of them have avoided a bad round and being pushed way down the order. To remain in top 10 at the end of 3rd day is still a great perform...

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

Ya!! Jeev did well in 2nd round. That's a good news. I hope he comes out with a solid round today and maintain his position with in top five. I'm still little nervous. Go Jeev!! you can do it. What a fight back from Daniel. He started on the back 9 and had three bogies. I kind of gave up on him, but...

Arjun Atwal thread

Not a good day for Arjun as he crashed out from the BMW International Open after shooting 76 (+4) on the second day. He had 6 bogies and 2 birdies.
The first day score of 70 (-2) gave him a good chance to make the cut and he needed similar performance today, which did not materialize.

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

Good day! Jeev with 65 did better than Daniel and currently he is leading. I hope Jeev comes up with a decent 2nd round. Normally after a good round, his next round would be below par. I hope he breaks the trend and finish in top 5 after 2nd round. I agree, Daniel has a good chance for PGA next year...

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

Another player of interest in Calgary event is Daniel Chopra. Though he is Swedish national, by heart he is Indian. His short bio from European PGA site is as follows: "Born in Stockholm of a Swedish mother and Indian father. Travelled alone to Delhi aged just seven and raised there by his gran...

Jeev Milkha Singh - US Open

Dhruv,
Jeev is very active in Japan PGA Tour and his priority is to keep Japan PGA card.
I'm sure he'll play for the year end PGA qualifier and if he does well like last year (when he missed PGA card narrowly) he'll get the Nationwide tour card.
