Looks like nothing got done yesterday (rain??) ..

Sania's and Rushmi's R1 singles matches are both scheduled now for today (wednesday).

Only the men's $10K doubles is scheduled there for today, Women's R1 doubles will all be on thursday I suppose.

Starting the thread early. The qualifying entry list came out today. I could not believe my eyes. The cut is at #243. Harsh Mankad at #282 is 27th in the waiting list. I expect the cut to drop by about 8 spots due to wildcards to the main draw, about 5 more due to main draw withdrawals and perhaps 5...

Actually when I said they were good athletes, I was referring to it by cricket standards. They are much better than what they used to be, and are generally on par with cricketers in other countries now. It would not be too long before we see a lot of the pure athletes also come out in Indian cricket...
