Re: Narain Karthikeyan Thread ...

Spyker or not, NK now has the chance to reestablish his name. Nobody expects him to score points or make it to the third segment of qualifying, all he has to do is to beat his team-mate Adrian Sutil. It's no easy task, especially knowing that Sutil raced Lewis Hamilton on equal terms in junior categ...

Re: Narain Karthikeyan Thread ...

NK could return to Formula 1 racing: he is onw of the drivers in the frame to fill in for sacked Albers at Spyker F1 (ex-Midland, ex-Jordan) team. Or at least he could drive in the GP2 series with Spanish team Racing Engineering. “We spoke to Narain about the possibility,” Racing Engineering team pr...

Re: Indian National Rally Championship

I just read that India's Naren Kumar finished 6th overall in the APRC Rally of Canberra (Australia), thus remaining fourth in the 2007 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship standings. Good news for Indian rallying.

Re: Karun Chandhok thread..

Karun ran second (didn't pit when nearly all other drivers made their compulsory stop) in the early stages of Saturday's main race in Magny Cours until he spun, getting stucked in the gravel trap. The race had a sick looking accident causing the race to be suspended for almost an hour. Ernesto Viso'...

Karl Reindler was podium finisher in the A1GP series, while James Winslow is the reigning Asian F3 champion (and the rescuer of the unfortunate Moreno Suprapto ). At least they are decent drivers. Great result from Armaan!

Re: Ta Ra Rum Pum - have ya seen it ?

Good point! Image I noticed that one of the cars used in 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' had the cougar paint scheme from 'Talladega Nights'. Maybe the producer found this stuff in garbage?  :D

Ta Ra Rum Pum - have ya seen it ?

NASCAR-themed Indian movie:

The script is childish, but Rani Mukherji is as cute as ever. Has anyone seen it ?

Looks like Karun was wrecked by Andy Soucek early in the race. There is no race 2 in Monaco tomorrow.

Re: A1 GP 2006

Finally, an "on par" qualifying effort from Narain on a track he knows. If he keeps himself out of trouble in the sprint race, he might grab a podium spot in the feature.

Re: Karun Chandhok thread..

I haven't watch the race yet, but I spotted Karun in 9th, just ahead of title favourite and Red Bull development driver Michael Ammermuller. Fabulous! No offense, but who would have thought that he can compete with the best right from the start. I predict points finishes for Karun very soon.  woohoo
