Re: Formula One (General)

Bottom line is that a lot of things can go wrong in the pits and it can go wrong whether you have the first or last spot in the pits. When a car goes into the pits in front of you and is being serviced by the crew, this is a disadvantage and a potential source of danger because you have to turn tigh...

Re: Formula One (General)

The disadvantage of having the last spot in the pitlane is rather slim. You crearly exaggerate this handicap by saying 'slow drive through whole pitlane until their pit box'. Generally speaking, pitting during green flag racing contains a high dose of hazard. Problems on the pit lane can happen to a...

Re: Formula One (General)

No Kujo, I was telling that spot A 'garage which is the first in the pitlane' is the best which Ferrari have ... McLaren will have spot Z which they have to deal with slow drive through whole pitlane until their pit box. You got to be kidding! Pit lane speed is limited at 120 kph on the way into yo...

Re: Formula One (General)

Spot A is the best, but spot Z is second best because you have a clear exit angle.

Formula 1 themed TV commercials

Schumi washing his hair with a certain shampoo, Irvine recommeding stylish Italian leather shoes, Hakkinen & his wife driving a Merc, etc etc. Apparently Formula 1 is a gold mine for the advertising industry finding inspiration and popular figures among the Grand Prix circus. I tried to gather all T...

Re: Karun Chandhok thread.. (Wins sprint race GP2 @ Spa)

Narun was 11th fastest in his Red Bull-Renault on the second day of testing in Barcelona. Less than a second off Coulthard's best lap time on his first F1 outing.

I'd like to read a word about that from Karun the man himself.

I hate this Jap!  Naka-san costed Ammermuller's season after they made contact in Bahrain. And the guy is Toyota F1's protege. As much I was a fan of his father back in the 90's when he was competing in F1, I can't stand Kazuki Nakajima!  :tomato:
