Re: Farmers protest in india
Why do you said it was paid? I am not saying it was not but trying to find out. Rhianna may have been paid. But, $2.5 million? I doubt it. We will find out. It is quite possible several people were paid to promote things. And, it was done by the Canadian Sikh rabble-rousers, who want to create chao...

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
We did 331,029 vaccinations by 6 pm today, for 5,290,474 total so far. Doesn't look like we will be over 500K today. So this week continues to show a decrease from last week when THU/FRI had 570K each. Running some 15% less this week, when I hoped for a 20% increase. Really bad. This won't do. Need...

So, frontline workers can get vaccinated from today. Central govt is asking states to increase their program with more efficiency, lets see how it goes. May be we will see a 1M/day this week.

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
Novovax from the US seems to have 89% efficacy too. It doesn't need extra refrigeration like Pfizer and Moderna, so that is good for India's cold-supply-chain. Adar Poonawallah says SII will launch the Indian version of it (Covavax) by June... Good, good... Keep adding capacity and get more vaccine...

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
Okay, the vaccinations numbers do show an upward trend. 227K by 6 pm today. So we should cross 250K for the first time today by late night. So, by the end of the day we did 347,058 with total being 1,390,592. Good increase but the peak days should be well over 1 million as almost all states has the...

Re: TOYOTA Thailand Open Jan 19-24/ BWF World Tour finals Jan 27-31
Saw Sameer's match today and that was really close....the only reason he lost is because of his own unforced errors. Need to see some more tournaments but look like he is more aggressive now.

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
So after 1 week we may be just above 1million vaccinations. No where near enough. Our goal is 300million in the next 5-6 months. Even if take the current percent of 60% we may need to do 180million vaccinations(though I think if there are no negative reports the percentage will go up in the upcoming...

Just watched both Sindhu's and Srikanth's matches which both of them won easily.
I felt that Sindhu's game improved actually, especially her defense and deception. Srikanth was playing good too, was playing many smashes as usual but with less unforced errors.

Re: Tokyo Olympics 2020 projections
I think the olympics will go on
?? As of now WADA is checking vaccines and the materials in vaccines. The thing is that SII is aiming to release the vaccine privately in March or April, and if that is true, I can't see why all the athletes can't be vaccinated.
