Re: Indian Shooting thread

I hope Saurabh will get us a quota place here, rest is all lottery. Maybe Manu has a chance in 25m.

Re: World Cup 2019

Saini gave up 8 runs in the 15th over, and 3 in the 19th over in a high scoring game today. I think those stats I read about his economy in the death overs is probably correct. He is seemingly as economical at the start as he is at the end. Quickest and the best economy amongst pacers on action toda...

Re: Ankita Raina thread

Ankita is the biggest fighter in Indian sport. She has kept grinding upwards for years from a relatively low base. I know PKB mentioned Prajnesh but he is closer to Saketh without the major injuries right after breaking into the top 150, in that both spent significant amount of time in their 20s wor...

Re: World Cup 2019

I think he is going for less than 8 in the death overs.

I see him as part of our rotation post-WC and let's give him a fair chance at the international arena.

Re: Indian Weightlifting Thread ...

Thanks for the update.

I think Jeremy will need to improve by 25kg to be in medal contention imo.

Re: Indian Boxing Thread

Did some research and this world champ didn't beat anyone of note in his world championship run.

Unfortunately, as much as I would like to get excited, nowhere near an Olympic medal performance yet.

Amit of course continues to show Olympic potential.

Re: World Cup 2019

Does Saini play for RCB? If yes, I saw him play the other day. He is terrrible! He is an excellent bowler and him and Deepak Chahar have been the find of the IPL as far as Indian bowlers go. https://i.ibb.co/Jcqcq0b/Screen-Shot-2019-04-22-at-7-08-47-PM.png https://i.ibb.co/B2wCHjz/Screen-Shot-2019-...

Re: World Cup 2019

Blame the selectors and Kohli/Dhoni all trying to hang on to power. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday named four fast bowlers to assist Team India in their preparation for World Cup 2019. The list released by the cricket board on their official website includes Navdeep Saini...

Sounds like what they will do. Although they may play Karthik. I do not mind rotating people if we are playing minnows at the beginning.
They intend to have Shankar bat at 4, as per MSK.

Re: World Cup 2019

Jadeja is a certainty, he has a role as a substitute fielder. That leaves 3 spots. Pant or Karthik is likely one, unless they take Rahul as the 2nd keeper/backup opener. Shankar could take a spot ahead of Rayadu. Navdeep Saini could be an interesting call for 4th seamer. My team - xi certainties + J...

Fairly obvious he is happy to play through the pain on clay and less so on hard.

Re: Indian Premier League (IPL)

KKR lost because Uthappa and Rana batted very selfishly.

Jadeja also has an advantage over other spinners by bowling on the dreadful Chennai pitch.

In general, the umpiring in this year's IPL has been terrible. A lot of fixing theories floating around.

I got excited by seeing a new pair in the second round of a superseries but sadly, they got a walkover.
