Re: Age Fraud in AITA (Indian Junior Tennis)
It seems the situation has not changed for the past decade. I tries my bit by filing RTI applications and had AITA mention that Age frauds would be penalised in their website but they have conveniently shifted the onus onto the Government. You just have to persevere. If you have the love for the gam...

Chasing points seems to be a costly affair. Libreville is one of the costliest cities in Africa. It seems to me that the cost of a point will be more than US$ 2000

Re: Are The Indian Coaches Committed to producing Tennis Champions?
Now Iam seeing quite a lot of young players in the age group of 22 - 27 turning to coaching to make money. Have they given up their dream so fast it really bothers me.
Are they giving their best to coaching other young players, I think not by what I have experienced so far.

Re: Turn pro at 18 yrs or go to US college on tennis scholar
I agree with Omkara. For guys who dont get sponsorship or help from the federation it makes sense to get a college education in India or in the US. Also the time spent will also ensure that the players mature mentally and physically. After they get a degree then you can try 2-3 years on the Protour ...

I have seen Ramk from when he was 6 years old. He was mature for a kid his age and could reason out his opponents strengths and weakness and ways to overcome at that time itself. Also he has had help from TNTA which has really helped his career take off. I hope he continues on this fine form. Keep i...

OK.
Right now I would like to know the procedure to register for the Challeger Tournaments and how to send entry. Already hace the IPIN for the ITF but just could not find the website where one can register for the Challenger.

I do write when I find the time. Mostly about the difficulties encountered for an upcoming player and his parents who is starting out without any help from the federation. Can't write too much about controversial topics

Re: Turn pro at 18 yrs or go to US college on tennis scholar
All the above posts dealt with going to the US on a Tennis scholarship but not getting a scholarship right here in India. Many good colleges in India are offering Tennis scholarships and are offering free seats in Engineering, medicine and management courses which would cost a large amount if you had...
